Brad DeLong: On Ryan's Claim That He Will Just End Medicare as We Know It for the Currently-Young...: I don't want to raise a point out of order, but what's the difference -- Constitutionally speaking -- between mandating insurance for the old (Ryancare) and mandating insurance for the all (ACA). Shouldn't they be one thing or the other? Even accepting that Ryan's a Republican and can think 2 inconsistent things at once (and say 3 of them) isn't Ryancare a bit of a wowzer?
