I do recognize that the "reasonable Republicans" who swallowed Quayle, Gingrich, GWB, Cheney, Palin, and company and now find themselves desperately unhappy and are searching fruitlessly for a way out.
But this is a trap they have made for themselves. Have there been any non-crazy Republican power-brokers since Newt Gingrich stole the party from George H.W. Bush?
